Anne Arundel County 2007 Republican Club of the Year?
   — District 32 Republican Club!

Anne Arundel County Republican Club of thte Year Award - 2007This year's Republican Club of the Year is the District 32 Republican Club: I would like to ask Gerry Starr – President of the 32 Club to come to the front to receive this award on the Clubs behalf. As we all know District 32 is the one district that we currently do not have an elected Republicans in either the House or Senate; however I have a gut feeling that this will be the last 4-year cycle that we will say that, thanks to this club. District 32 has been formed for the sole purpose of inspiring other 32 Republicans to get involved and take back at least one of those seats. Most recently they have put together a mailer that they will be sending to thousands of doors and post boxes throughout their District – reminding their fellow residents of the Tax voting records of their Democrat elected representatives. They aren’t waiting for 2010 they are on the attack now – and with candidates like Wayne Smith who is continuing to run and others who I am confident will step forward we will take one of those seats back in 2010. – Congratulations District 32 Club – and thank you Gerry Starr for your leadership in the club.

Club visits WRAMC on Veterans Day

Items donated to our veterans at Walter Reed [click for larger image]The District 32 Republican Club marked Veterans Day by donating personal items to wounded military personnel at Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington, D.C., along with a note expressing the Club's recognition of and gratitude for the sacrifices of U.S. military men and women. Wounded military personnel arrive at Walter Reed with virtually no personal effects and rely on donations and personal packages to help supply them with items that help them during their treatment at Walter Reed. The Club donated several pieces of small luggage filled with sweatshirts, toiletries, books, games and snacks to let the wounded know that Maryland's Republicans care for those wounded in the line of duty.
